We meet monthly from October to APRIL, with a special Holiday luncheon in December.

Meetings begin at 12:30 PM at the Sanibel Community House, located at 2173 Periwinkle Way on Sanibel.

We meet the third Monday of the month.

• Member’s orchid show - temporarily on hold until show material is replaced.
  

• Knowledgeable speakers on growing, maintaining, propagating and showing orchids.
  

• A popular raffle; an easy way to increase your collection.  Members receive free raffle tickets!
  

• Quality plants for sale by professional Florida orchid growers.

The Sanibel-Captiva Orchid Society lending library was destroyed during IAN.  We are working to rebuild.

The Society frequently offers orchid books and orchid-growing materials at deep discounts.

Welcome to the Sanibel-Captiva Orchid Society, dedicated to engaging and educating orchid lovers on our islands and Lee County.  We always welcome guests to our meetings ($10 guest fee) but encourage full-time residents, part-time residents and short-term visitors to join - it’s only $35 per year for membership; families only $50.  Normal memberships will begin in October, 2024.
